We are the local Space Coast club that is sanctioned by North American Model Boaters Association, referred to as NAMBA. We are pleased to sponsor one or two NAMBA sanctioned races during the racing season which goes from January through December. The club provides access to the pond on most weekends to club members and their guests. We hope you will come aboard and visit us for an exciting day of radio control model boat racing or just observing.
The Space Coast Rudder Busters, Inc. is dedicated to providing wholesome recreational activity that the whole family can enjoy. Our facility provides all the amenities to enjoy the sport of model boating.
Becoming a club member is easy. Just give us an e-mail and we will contact you. A yearly Rudder Buster membership is $25.00 for individual or $30.00 for family. This includes year-round use of the club site, use of our 14 foot Jon boat while at the lake site, and helpful contact with other club members, and club race eligibility. In conjunction with your membership with the Space Coast Rudder Busters, Inc., Model Boaters will need to become members of the North American Model Boaters Association (NAMBA). This organization can provide many services to the model boating enthusiast, including the required model boaters insurance to cover mishaps or accidents. A yearly membership to NAMBA is $45.00. In order to run your boats at out lake you must be a current member of NAMBA or IMPBA. IMPBA (International Model Power Boat Association) is another model boat sanctioning organization. However most of the clubs in the Florida area are NAMBA clubs so we chose to associate with NAMBA
